Rating requirement: Unrated and under 1400

Entry Fee: $39
Membership Discount: Up to 25% discount. Sign in using the email address associated with your BAC membership to receive any applicable discount

Online late fee: +$15 (may start on March 7th or when reaching capacity)
Onsite entry fee: $58 (subject to availability, no membership discount)

Players who withdraw during the tournament are not eligible for BA€oins.
🔄 Changes, Withdrawals, Refunds
Requests: All requests (including withdrawal) must be made at bayareachess.com/request.

After tournament has started: No rescheduling or refund
Withdrawals (partial refund):
By March 6th: $7 + 4% processing fee deducted
After March 6th: $20 or 50% (whichever is lower) + 4% processing fee deducted

Boards and pieces are provided.
Notation: Not required, but encouraged.
Clocks: Optional. You may bring your own. Please know how to set your clock to G/25 d5.
Only water is allowed (no outside food or drinks).
Only players are allowed in the playing area; spectators will be asked to wait outside the playing room when games are ready to start.
