Join us for a fun, fast-paced evening of chess! Whether you're new to blitz events or a regular, this rolling-schedule format keeps games moving and players engaged. We hope to see you at the boards! ♟️🎯

📅 Schedule & Check-in

Please arrive early to complete check-in by 6:15 PM. Late arrivals may forfeit rounds.

The event runs within the two-hour window; rounds will proceed on a rolling schedule to keep play continuous. ⏱️

♟️ Format & Pairings

Players are placed into groups of 6 based on USChess published rating supplement.

Each group will play 4 to 5 double rounds on a rolling schedule (players will be paired as opponents become available).

💵 Fees

Entry: $33

Membership Discount: Sign in with the email associated with your BAC membership to receive any applicable discount.

Bundle CashBack: Get $10 cashback when you also register for the FIDE Championship (cashback processed within 7 days of the tournament).

Onsite entry fee: $40 (subject to availability, no membership discount)

💰 Prizes (per group)

Prize fund: $100 per group

Standard (6-player group)

Expanded (groups with more than 6 players)

*Note: If a group has more than 6 players, 3rd ($30) and/or 4th ($20) place prizes will be added as needed. 🏅

A player who withdraws during the tournament is not eligible for prize money.

Please do not bring outside food or drinks; only water is allowed. 🚫🍔🚫🥤

Only players are allowed in the playing area; spectators will be asked to wait outside the playing room when games are ready to start.
